I am new to Salesforce...
I am reading a lot of documentations but I have confusion.. For example:
https://www.salesforcetraining.com/salesforce-leads-accounts-contacts-opportunities-how-does-it-all-work/
https://trailblazers.salesforce.com/answers?id=90630000000h1xTAAQ
What I understand is:
- User goes to our web site and insert a request for a service we provide. A LEAD is created in Salesforce;
- Sales Team Operator call by telephon user generated the lead and, if appropriate, convert the lead in OPPORTUNITY (the lead shoud disappear automatically)
- User decide to buys the service we provide. What the opportunity should be converted to?
Thank you

Hi Simone!
A prospect fills in a web-form, and is created as Lead in Salesforce.
When salesperson feels like Lead is commited to proceed, Lead is converted into Account (Company lead works for or household lead belongs to), Contact and optionally Opportunity. Lead is locked after conversion and is visible only to users with special permissions.
Our firm client's Account Name now appears on the Opportunity record and his/her contact appears as a Primary Opportunity Contact Role. When client decides which service to buy, we add Opportunity Product to the Opportunity and upon successful end of the deal we mark Opporutnity's Stage as Closed Won.
Now, Opportunity is not getting converted to anything. Opportunity with Stage = Closed Won/Closed Lost generally denote the end of the deal, whether it's a success or failure.
