I have created permissions set and checked "Two-Factor Authentication for User Interface Logins" now I have assigned these permissions to my profile but when I log out it does not force me to login with 2FA it just logges me in.
Also, on my mobile device when I try to verify the number with SF Authenticator it sends me a weird link like Salesforce://verify-number?t=c0Evz and I am not really sure how to use it to confirm the number, any advice is much appreciated

How did you set the 2FA to behave?
Also, at the permission set level, session settings "Session Security Level Required at Login" should be set to High Assurance
