I'm trying to enable my customers with self-registration for the customer portal. I've figured out how to add the "Allow Customer Portal Self-Registration" checkbox to a contact page, but now I want it to default to True every time a contact is created. How do you do that?

    - To create a WF rule,

     

    Click on your name/setup/app setup/create/workflow & Approvals/workflow rules and create a new rule as per below

    click Save & Next and then click on Add Workflow action and select field update. Fill in as per below:

    Hit Save and then on the next page hit "Done" and then "Activate" the WF rule on the subsequent page.
