I've created a Dashboard filter based on "Opportunity Owner".  There are 3 reports in my dashboard and all but one are filtering off "Opportunity Owner" (OWNER being the key word).  How do I get the 'Report Filtered By:" to give me the option to filter off "Owner"?  Our customer object "MELA" has a standard lookup (to User) field called "Owner".  We don't use the "Sales Rep" field anymore so I want it to be off Owner.

Thanks! How do I change Report Filter to match the Dashboard Filter?

I'm not for sure if this is possible given some of the limits with Field Equivalent Filters but the one thing I would suggest checking is that the field you are looking to filter by is included as a field in the report type that is being used for the report underlying the dashboard.

If you are an admin: Click Your Name > Setup > Create > Report Types > click the Report Type. Click Edit on the Layout and find the field and add it to the available fields.

Otherwise, this might not be possible but you can vote up this Idea to encourage Salesforce to include this feature in the future - https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000hjeOAAQ
