I would recommend a full data export.
May as well get everything on backup while you're at it.
The full data export will provide CSV files of selected or all objects packaged up in zip files.
When you request the export you will have 48 hours to download it before it gets removed.
You can only request this one a week or once a month depending on your version.
I would also recommend setting up a schedule to do this on a regular basis.
The advantage of doing this is it will include objects that you wouldn't necessarily think of that you might miss with reports or the data loader.
It can be found under the data management section in setup.
