Set Up Agentforce SDR

Nurture Leads Like Never Before
Built on the Salesforce trusted AI platform, Agentforce SDR helps scale your sales team by nurturing leads and building pipeline around the clock. The SDR agent can be the first point of contact for inbound leads. The agent can conduct personalized lead outreach, respond to customer questions, and even book meetings on your seller’s behalf
While Agentforce is working, your sales team can focus on targeted accounts and building deeper customer connections, helping them close more deals, faster.
Enable Supporting Features and Activate Agentforce for Sales Development
Enabling the SDR agent in Agentforce is a straightforward two-step process:

Turn on SDR | Inbound Nurturing in Agentforce: Activate Agentforce’s capabilities, along with the necessary supporting services, to make the SDR agent available.

Configure and Activate the Agent: Use Agent Builder to tailor the agent to your business needs and sales processes.
In this step, you learn how to complete the first step—enabling the SDR agent through the Salesforce Go experience. Salesforce Go is the new setup experience that streamlines how you discover, enable, configure, and monitor Salesforce features. Check out the Resources section to learn more about Salesforce Go.
- Click the gear icon
and click Salesforce Go. This opens up the Salesforce Go home page in Setup. Alternatively, if you’re already in Setup, use Quick Find to search for and select Salesforce Go.
- Scroll down to the Get Started with Agentforce section and click Set Up on the Agentforce for Sales card.
- Click Turn On to enable Agentforce in your org.
- Click Confirm. It may take a few moments for Agentforce to activate. Once enabled, Agentforce automatically makes sales-related agents available for setup. For example, Agentforce for Sales currently includes two agents: Sales Coach and SDR Agent. After activation, these agents become accessible from this page.
- Toggle on SDR Agent | Inbound Nurturing.
- Click Confirm in the dialog box. It may take a few moments for the agent to activate. Once enabled, the setup steps you need to complete become available. As shown, one of four required steps—turning the agent on—is now complete. Your agent is now enabled and ready for set up.
