Create a User Record for Your Agent

Before you create a user record for your agent, you first need to grant yourself the ability to manage and use the SDR Agent.

Grant Users Access to the Agent

There are additional permission sets that grant access to configure and use the agent.

  1. In the SDR Agent | Inbound Nurturing setup area within Salesforce Go, click Manage next to Manage User Access.

  1. This opens the Manage SDR Agent | Inbound Nurturing User Access page. The Configure Agentforce SDR Agent tab is currently selected. Click the Recently Viewed dropdown and select All Users.

  2. Click Done.

Create an SDR Agent User

Your SDR agent operates as a user in Salesforce, with the same reporting, record keeping, and management as other users. To make this happen, you need to create a specific type of user and assign the appropriate permissions.

Add an SDR Agent User

  1. From Setup in the Quick Find box, type Users.
  2. Click Users and then click New User.
