Are you excited to join the Trailhead ecosystem but worry that language could be a barrier? We’re here for you. Trailhead strives to provide our global Trailblazer community with the tools to learn new skills, earn credentials, and connect with each other using their primary languages. In this module, you get an overview of what’s supported in your language of choice, how to make use of the translation resources, and ways to connect with us regarding your language-specific requests.
Get to Know Language Support in Trailhead
Currently, in addition to English, the Trailhead ecosystem supports nine languages: Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (LATAM), German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Korean, and Simplified Chinese. While we all wish Trailhead existed in every language known on Earth, we do have limited resources. So we invest in offering content in languages that benefit the majority of our Trailblazers.
Our data-driven prioritization model takes into account factors such as Salesforce product monthly active users (MAU), Trailhead MAU, and English proficiency, among other key metrics. We consistently work to improve the model to ensure we’re keeping up with the changing landscape of the ecosystem.
Each supported language has a different international footprint. That’s because we understand that each region has its own unique trends, which extend to each individual Trailblazer’s needs. Check the table below to find out what’s available in your own language.
Note that the check marks indicate some materials are supported in the language, but they may not be fully covered. To see which Trailhead badges are available in your language, check the Trailhead Badge Localized Titles (updated monthly).

Bandwidth constraints and internationalization limitations mean that certain features and pages are not yet available in non-English languages. The Trailhead teams are working hard to run pilot programs, which might turn into broader international coverage. Stay tuned, but be patient.
File a Translation Request
Do you want to see badges or certain features in your language? Would you like to see Trailhead available in more languages than are detailed here? Then we’d love to hear from you! Our Trailblazer community is our priority, and we look to your feedback to drive Trailhead success.
File a translation request via this form, and the team will consider the feedback during roadmap planning. Try to be as specific as you can in the request to facilitate prioritization decisions. For example, translating a certain badge/page would be more actionable than “all pages”.
Use English Content as the Source of Truth
In most cases, Trailhead content is developed first in English and subsequently translated into multiple languages. You can compare it to the process of baking a cake. We gather all the ingredients (English source material) on a specific day (once a month). We then mix the batter (prepare files for translation) and put it in the oven (send out for translation). And finally we send out the baked goods for packaging and delivery (publish for consumption). This translation process for Trailhead is repeated on a monthly basis.
This means that translations almost always lag behind the English content. This impacts your user experience, especially when there are new product releases or bug fixes that require revised content. While we encourage you to continue to use translated versions to gain knowledge and skills, expect a lag in the localized content when updates occur.
When it comes to major revisions where English has structural changes, the localized content will fall back to English while translation processes behind the scenes.
You can also refer to the English content if you prefer. In fact, we strongly recommend doing so if you struggle to pass the Hands-on Challenge in a localized badge. This is because the tokens in the localized versions might not reflect the latest changes in English. You learn more about this in the next unit.
