Manage Patients Better

The healthcare industry is evolving rapidly. Healthcare organizations are constantly looking for efficient ways to collect data, visualize it, build models of it, and integrate it to get meaningful results. And patients want individual attention, affordable care, personalized treatment, and easy access to a complete record of their health—on any device, at any time.

Bloomington Caregivers, a leader in the healthcare industry, uses Health Cloud to manage its operations. April Guthman, the care coordinator at Bloomington Caregivers, puts together care teams who collaborate on helping patients achieve their health goals. Care team members monitor and coordinate patients' treatment plans, educate patients about their condition, connect them with healthcare providers, and evaluate their progress.

Using the Health Cloud console, April can view the big picture of her caseload, including tasks that need attention, new patients, and communication about it all. She can take care of multiple patients at the same time using separate tabs for care plans, care teams, and health history. However, she would love to get a solution to help her do the following.

  • Gain insights into how patients are doing on their care plans.
  • Identify patients who are falling behind and not adhering to their care plan tasks.
  • Identify patients she has follow-ups with.

Harryette Randall, the admin at Bloomington Caregivers, suggests CRM Analytics for Healthcare to April. While Bloomington Caregivers is equipped with the latest and the greatest in healthcare, AI-powered analytics help provide proactive quality care to its patient population and improve health outcomes. In this module, we follow along as Harryette Randall sets up CRM Analytics for Healthcare. Before that, let’s learn more about its capabilities.

The Add-On That Adds Up

CRM Analytics for Healthcare is an add-on app for Health Cloud that combines the power of Health Cloud with the intelligence of the CRM Analytics platform. Built for Health Cloud, it has prebuilt AI analytics, reports, and dashboards, which not only give you an insight into your underlying data but also provide predictive analytics based on industry standards.

It’s the first complete intelligence platform for payers, providers, and the medical tech industry that addresses a number of key use cases.

  • Providers can identify at-risk patients falling behind on a care plan and analyze referral trends to increase conversion rates.
  • Payers can analyze utilization trends to increase operational efficiency and identify at-risk members falling behind on a care plan.
  • Medical device companies can discover key account trends and proactively engage customers with high-churn risk.
  • Sales managers can analyze the performance of their sales teams.

But you don’t have to be stuck with the metrics that come with CRM Analytics for Healthcare. The underlying CRM Analytics platform gives you the flexibility to choose what you want to see in the lenses and dashboards. For example, patient status may have three out-of-the-box fields, but you can add five more to better track the status of patients. You can tweak a metric that is calculated on the basis of days to show information based on hours instead. You can connect to local, remote, or external data sources to integrate data into CRM Analytics datasets, and more.

To know more about the dashboards that you can use to address your specific business use cases, see CRM Analytics for Healthcare Dashboards.
